Here are the real estate market statistics from Macdonald Realty on Okanagan listings and sales in January 2017.

South Okanagan: Osoyoos, Oliver, and Penticton

In January 2017, there were 41 sales of detached homes and 426 active listings in South Okanagan Area, including Osoyoos, Oliver, and Penticton. The average sale price was $493,227 with an average days on market of 100.

The Condo market had 24 sales and 122 active listings at the end of the month.  The average sale price was $246,708 with an average days on market of 68.

Townhome sales were 18, active listings were 84. The average sale price was $335,430, and the average days on market were 87.

Central Okanagan: Kelowna and Lake Country

There were 103 sales, 517 active listings, and a $605,697 average sale price for detached homes in the Central Okanagan market, including Kelowna and Lake Country. The average days on market were 65.

The condo market featured 77 sales and 244 active listings at the end of the month. The average sale price was $295,258 with 59 average days on market.

Townhome sales were 37, active listings were 178, average sale price was $413,928, and the average days on market were 59.

North Okanagan: Vernon and surrounding area

In North Okanagan, including Vernon and the surrounding area, the average sale price was $423,729 with an average days on market of 59 days for detached homes. At the end of January, there were 33 sales and 276 active listings.

There were 7 sales and 84 active listings for condos. The average sale price was $194,429, and the average days on market were 198.

In comparison, townhome featured 14 sales, 73 active listings and a $297,564 average sale price with 77 average days on market.
